On 01.10.1960 the AG 53 was activated at Erding AFB. Their first aircraft where new build Fiat G.91 R3. I Mai 1962 the wing moved to Leipheim, the planed operational homebase. But the Wing had a very short life, because already on 30.05.1965 it was deactivated and reformed as LeKG 44. |
