| Flying Training School "B"

The FFS "B" was activated on 01.06.1956 at Fürstenfeldbruck.
The Task was the training of pilots on an advanced Jet-Trainer.
For this task the FFS "B" was flying the Lockheed T-33 A, which was directly taken over
from the USAF Training Squadrons, which were based here.
Until the USAF left in May 1960 this base the Training for the futur German Pilots run parallel at the FFS "B" and
der 7330th Training Wing.
1964 the Weaponschool 50 was moved from Erding to Fürstenfeldbruck and the FFS "B"
was integrated in the Weaponschool 50.
